Sweet baby Jesus I hope so. I just signed up with Direct because we got a new house. After dealing with Comcast in our apartment, they were automatically out....terrible everything. They don't have Uverse in our part of town so it was between Dish and Direct. Chose Direct because my mom and dad have always had it and never many problems. I'm anxious to see how much extra it will cost me to add the package with the SEC Network if they ever get a deal though...

The SEC Network won't be an extra package. It'll just be a new channel added to your existing subscription.

AT&T DirecTV deal is still in the "paperwork" phase. AT&T and DirecTV has reached a deal, but now it is all about the paperwork. This deal will probably not be finalized until late 2015, but hopefully the deal can be ironed out sooner. I do not think that DirecTV can make any more deals with out channel providers while the deal is being worked as this could cause further changes in stock prices, thus affecting the purposed value of the deal.

Directv and SEC Network has agreed on a rate. They're optimistic they will have the channel at launch.
