FP, I think you may be watching too much ESPN. Manziel apparently is a really good teammate behind closed doors...there are numerous reports of this by sources not named ESPN. (I don't particularly like this guy, I just hate that he is being used in the same way Tebow and others have been used by ESPN to make money at their expense)

Manziel is no different than Favre, Eli, Matt Stafford or virtually any other hot-shot celebrity college QB that has had a good time perhaps a little too often. If twitter were around for any of the aforementioned in college, much of the same much-ado-about-nothing could have been said of them too.

Eli was a LEGEND off of the field in Oxford for his drinking and skirt-chasing.

I have no idea what kind of teammate he is behind closed doors but him not being elected to the leadership council by the players has to make you wonder.

That is certainly a fair point. I just don't see his teammates turning on him or quitting on him...if for no other reason than they realize he is their best opportunity to win.

All that said, I cannot wait for kick-off at 2:30 this Saturday. 99% chance Alabama wins the game, but I bet it will be interesting either way. If Texas A&M wins, Saban's head may explode on live TV.

Lol yeah his head possibly could explode. If people are tired of Johnny Football right now they are going to be really unhappy if he beats Bama again.

He beats Bama again he will shoot to the top of the Heisman list again as well.......A LOT riding on this game for him personally as well as the AM coach. They will def bring their A++ game.

Hoping Saban has somehow figured out how to put 15 defensive players on the field and it still appear to be 11 to the refs.

I think Manziel is too "unpopular" to win the Heisman again...regardless of this Saturday or any other games...with the exception of a Cam Newton type season where it's just unfair to not give it to him and it'll still be close when it shouldn't (for the record, I don't think he'll go that but I guess he could just destroy everybody as long as he's healthy, they gotta play em to see)...but the beauty pageant of the Heisman will crush Manziel if there is even one proper pig upon which to slap on some lipstick...that's just what the Heisman is about these days.

You may be right Cam, his welcome may be wore out. I work with several from TX and one graduate from TAM, he i predicting the 'Johnny M' show. Total blowout by TAM to make the case for a high ranking.

I think this game resembles Georgia's "blackout game" against Bana a few years ago...total beatdown by Bama.

I hope Alabama wins and I hope Johnny Manziel is somehow made totally irrelavent in the aftermath...(i try not to wish injury but I wouldn't care too much if next time I had to see Johnny Football on ESPN it was about him trying to make the NFL)

but I think TAMU wins the game.

Think about it like this...do you think anyone in the Heisman house...or anybody that matters really wants Johnny Manziel with TWO heisman trophies? Despite what happens on the field, in the long term...who wants that at this point?

Charles Barkely said Manziel has done the impossible, making home root for Bama this weekend.

Johnny PiƱata will be the subject of a few violent hits tomorrow and will be unable to sign autographs afterwards. The vanilla offense by Alabama in the Va Tech game was - for one reason and that was to not provide much film for the Faggies. Would be interesting if Saban introduces his own version of the "Hurry-Up Offense" tomorrow.

It takes 22 players A & M. Alabama in a big way tomorrow. This Alabama offense should be the most potent in their history. The D is pretty good as well.
