I feed Diamond Adult and Diamond Proformance. I have the same trouble with the ProPlan. I have to drive 30miles the get the Diamond Pro. and could get the Pro Plan at the same place but they don't sell a lot of it and the sacks are old looking and I figure some of them have molded food inside so I just don't fool with it. The next closest place I have found is an hour for Pro Plan and that's just too far. I would need to buy 10 or so sacks and that's dang near $400 bucks a trip. Diamond is a great food and works for me but the waste volume is a little more than say Euk., Iams, Or Pro Plan but still nowhere near regular dog chow or some other grocery store brands. I did feed Purina One and liked it ok for just a pet or older dog but they don't have proformance blend. I think as long as you go with a quality food that works for your dog you can't go wrong. Just stay away from "kibbles and chunks" and "ole roy",crap like that.

Definitely.........had a friend of mine get a test done on his lab.....turns out to be allergic to 7 of the most widely used ingredients in dog food.

My Rowdy is allergic is something......my guess would be corn or wheat.....or a combination of the two. If I feed him food loaded with corn and wheat......loses all the hair under his belly.......put him on some sensitive skin and stomach dog food with no fillers....everything's fine.
