LSU had a prime chance at the end last night, but as a natty 4 seed, their head was swoll and wanted to play gorilla ball instead of small ball. Runner on first with no outs, how do you NOT bunt the runner over? Instead they let Rhymes try to hit the ball and he hits into a double play.[/quote]
This right hear is what should have happened take a pitch then bunt. Lsu peaked a month ago in the sc tournament.

Dang we can't ever finish it the easy way. Heck of a game. I can't stand the Hoosiers catcher. That dude complains more than gh22.

I wanna be excited, but I'm afraid to be. Lets win 3 more games. For the love of all things Holy, just give me 3 more wins. I will never ask for anything from anybody for the rest of my life.

Best bounce pass, ever.

Man I thought not bringing in Holder was about to bite them in the rear. Still don't understand how you do not bring in the best closer in college baseball to start the inning or at least after first runner gets on.

I felt like he should've come in to start the 9th, but he left him in after the first two hits purely because of matchups (left on left). I didn't like it, I thought Girodo was done, but it worked out.

Thats an understatement. Guy was a sore loser even when they were winning. If I was the ump I would have snatched a knot in his ass real quick. And if he didnt like it he could listen to the rest of it from the locker room.

The last batter Girodo faced was batting from right side. Shoulda brought Holder in for him then. Nonetheless, we keep rolling! 8)

If so, I stand corrected, which in baseball strategy makes absolutely no sense at all.

Yeah...the guy who hit it off the wall was a righty. I kept saying to my wife, let Girado face the lefty...but as soon as ol boy came up batting from the right side...I said get Holder in there now. The big catcher(lefty) had just crushed a ball that would have left most parks and Girado had thrown his heart out. Oh well, thankfully it wasn't a tie ball game at that point. Fun to be a couch coach...I am glad it is Cohen's job and not mine.
