Travis-
Not much to say as you well know. I should say this: Thanks for being there when it was me on the receiving end of these notes. As you are a 40 year old man Rowdy was here for nearly 50% of your adult life. 25% of your entire life. He was here for a reason.
I know it hurts. Be thankful for the pain. It means something.
No one here can tell you what a great dog he was. Only you know that. Only TJ knows that. And that's all that matters.
I remember all of our training years back. We would leave Steve on the porch and after the early morning group would disband. Me and you and our dogs would get after it, we kept grinding out the work. Going the extra!
So many weekends riding back from a test and we had 100% of our ribbons. 6 out of 30 dogs would pass and we would have 4 of them. Happened all the time. The road trip to Kankakee Indiana; We lined their blinds and cleaned their tests up in mere seconds. The judges all asked if we were pros. We weren't necessarily special triners but we absolutely had special dogs and a special desire to work hard.
I know you are but me, I will be thanking God for ole Rowdy and what he did for yu and TJ and your life.
