Re: Ole Miss vs MSU
I think it will be a good game. Pressure is on Merlins. State has won the games they were "supposed to" this year and this is just another one of them. Hope you fellas that think state will win by 3 td's take advantage and make some huge bets.

Presssure is definitely on the bears. State going bowling anyway but a win could send em to a good one. Rebs are really banged up in the defense dept and if they don't pressure qb it will be a long day. Should be close either way.

Re: Ole Miss vs MSU
Freeze is a first year coach, he has done a good job. I know you don't think so. That's ok, we are improving. The simple fact of the matter is that Mullen has been running his mouth about winning and now in his banner season(8-0, #webelieve, for reference), state is not even favored to win against a first year coached Ole Miss team that is thin on talent. Can you not see that, do you not care?. I know you are too blind to see it and have made an idol out of Merlins. We'll see, can argue this pointless bs all day. Predictions and lines mean little when it comes game time. Good luck, always a good one.

never said om hasnt improved, the #webeleive was started by the student assoc, not "merlins".
vegas opened as a pickem, fwiw. om is home team, playing for bowl elig. and trying to stop a 3 game slide agaisnt this team that sounds like a metric fuqe ton of pressure to me

Re: Ole Miss vs MSU
OM wins. Won't even be close if State can't put some long drives together. Rebs offense moves the ball well, even against teams with much better Ds....Bama, LSU. If Rebs move the ball like normal and State's O gets off to a slow start or has several 3 and outs in a row, Bullies are beat.

Re: Ole Miss vs MSU
Win or loose State's standing in the sec wont change. We are 4-3 now and ranked 8th in the sec. Would still be 8th at 4-4 or at 5-3 unless arkansas miraculessly beats LSU in Death Valley. But everyone moves up if one or more teams getvin the championship game. This could have the biggest impact on bowl bidslilwhitelie wrote:Presssure is definitely on the bears. Re: Ole Miss vs MSU
Tyler Russell is a very good QB and very poised in the pocket. If he is on his game and hitting his receivers against our secondary that is banged up, State will win by 10+.
Ole Miss will have to play a flawless game with emphasis on SPECIAL TEAMS, regardless of how well their offense and defense is playing. If we have a special teams effort like we did against LSU, we will NOT WIN.
If Tyler Russell is on his game: MSU 31 OM 19
If REBS execute in all areas of the game and Russell has a bad day: MSU 24 OM 27
I WOULD NOT BET ON THIS GAME TO SAVE MY LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's one thing we will all agree on.
I probably wouldn't bet this game with your money much less mine
