The SEC only has 8 or 9 bowl tie ins. There are already 7 teams with 7 or more wins. Vandi and Mizzu can easily end ip with 7 wins too, making 9 teams with 7 plus wins. If this happens, Ole miss gets left out at 6 and 6.

An SEC team no matter where they rank in the SEC with 6 wins will get a bowl game somewhere. It may be the Uncle Sambo's rusty hubcap bowl played in downtown Booga Bottom Mississippi but they will get a bowl game somewhere.

I agree. We all know win #6 is not going to happen this week so that leaves the Egg Bowl. Playing your rival for a chance to extend your season and go to a bowl game while in theory sounds exciting but in reality will make for a game that at least for this Reb fan will be too nerve racking to be enjoyable.

Both Ole Miss and State have been skipped over before with 6 wins. Both have also been chosen over the other when one had 6 and the other had 7. Just stating whats printed by the bowl selection commitees. If an SEC team does not get into the championship game some 6 win team in the SEC will most likely get left out!

IF the Rebels are fortunate enough to win 6 games, the Rebels will be in the Liberty Bowl. The Liberty Bowl wants the Rebs. BUT, we may not get the 6 wins. It will likely come down to the Egg Bowl in Oxford.
