Again I'd say that something else is setting off the camera, just coincidence that there is a deer in the background. Otherwise, you and 100% of bushnell's customers would be complaining of getting night pics all the time with nothing in them.

Either you have the time lapse on or you have a Trophy Cam on super steriods. I have two of them and I think they both reach out to 50 feet. They are my favorite cameras but I have to agree with durant.

I don't disagree that what y'all are saying is true 99% of the time, but i've had way too many pictures in the last couple years like I'm talking about. I just checked and I have kept none of them to support my case so y'all take it for what it's worth and in the mean time I'll try to prove y'all right.

And, as you say, Durant, that is my one complaint with the camera.

I've ranged mine before, both will reach 21-22yds on high sensitivity, even through cover.

The deer may have been 115 yds, but they weren't the ones that triggered the cam, those things will barely trigger out to about 40 ft. They are good cams though.

I still think it will. The first time I noticed it I had the camera in the woods. I pulled the card to check it, and I didn't have a single picture for days, then on one day there were dozens, and then no more. In the dozens of pictures on that one day I couldn't see anything that might have triggered it until I was scrolling backward sort of fast through the pictures and noticed a little movement from one shot to the next. I blew them up and scrolled through again an found a squirrel going up and down a tree over and over again on the opposite ridge from where I had the camera.

All that being said...I went out to move the camera over the weekend and did some tests. It triggered consistently out to about 30 yds. and I never did get it to trigger beyond that.

Those ridges must have been really REALLY close together then.
