After Hamilton's four homeruns Tuesday, he now has 14 homeruns on the season. So, this would place him about Gattis.

He's got 6 hr's for the week.

glad he's on my fantasy team. hope he stays healthy.

If you get a chance, head to Pearl and get a glimpse of Evan Gattis. If things keep going well for him, he may not be seen in Pearl for long. He is already leading the Minors/Majors in homeruns with 13 and has 38 RBI's! He has been moved from catcher, where the Braves are solid, to left field to get him a fast track to Atlanta.

Chipper called Gattis a "beast". How is he doing in Left Field? Seems like we are going to have an overflow of starting-level players next year. Hope that doesn't mean that we move Prado in a trade, he's a great player and clubhouse guy.

agreed. one of the best utility players in the game, imo. put him anywhere and he is consistent.

i think we should have traded jurjens last year. i said that last year was a fluke for him and wouldn't happen again. hope he proves me wrong, though.

Our pitching staff isn't doing so well this year. I have never been a Hanson fan.

I have not seen Gattis play yet, but I think he will do OK in left.

When the Braves announced they were shopping Prado, I flipped out! He is/was the ONLY consistant person hitting last season!

Hinske and Diaz are short contracts, so I expect one or both to be released after this year and that will make room for Gattis. Or, they will trade Gattis for more pitching.

NL Braves
AL Rangers

Hamilton has been spectacular; 17 HR in first 33 games is incredible putting him on a 3 name list...He leads majors in BA, HR & RBI....fun to watch

Rangers finally seem to have the pitching and not just the bats to win games...it has been fun to watch Moreland over there too

I think the pitching will get better. Hudson seems to be getting back to his old self pretty quickly. Breachy has been great, Hanson has always been inconsistent, hopefully minor comes back around and Delgado seems to be getting better with each start. I think the key will be O'flahaerty in the bullpen. He got off to a rough start but seems to be getting in his groove now.
