Todays Hunt (new to all this)

Got a new camera for my birthday, and finally got to take it out! I'm very green on all this so please feel free to give a lot of advice..

nice.... what equipment are you using ?
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

just a suggestion... over expose any sky shots.
your camera is making exposure adjustments for the sky, because it is what your exposure meter is reading... but the ducks are darker. Their belly is in the shadows.
to see more detail in the duck, over expose your photo by a stop or two depending on
the time of day.

your eye can make adjustments quickly, but the camera only sees it one way
