Re: Recurve shooters
I tried a brief stint at shooting a recurve. Regretted it ever since... Quickest way to have a 150" buck get in your lap is to take a dang recurve to the tree.

Folks kill bigguns with stick bows all the time. And I've had big bucks at 70 yds when I had my wheelie bow, so it's all relative.

Re: Recurve shooters
been hunting since 92' with my homemade take down recurves. I get a lot of pleasure hunting with my own recurves. it's not for everyone. it's a 20 yard sport. if you can adapt your hunting to that, it's a lot of fun. Takes a lot of practice to get efficient. have met and hunted with people all over the country through traditional connections.

Re: Recurve shooters
Id like to get me one made. I have a spot were a few deer wander within 10 yards of me. Just my luck a 150 will walk out to 40 yards, but hey...... That's bow hunting!
