Frame Replacement for Costas.. Help!!

Postby MisterBlack » Mon Oct 03, 2011 8:33 pm

So I have some harpoon costas and the frames are broke, lenses are in perfect shape, just the frames are broke, does anybody happen to know where I can get these replaced and maybe a ballpark price? Don't have a warranty on them anymore. I've tried to do a little research and haven't come up with much, I just know alot of people wear them on this forum..

Appreciate the help fellas!

If they are Costa del mars the frame has a lifetime warranty. Go to there web site and print off a repair form and mail it and the glasses to there shop and they will fix them, I think its like $15 service fee.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

I scratched both lenses in my Costas bad and my son chewed the end of one of the arms. I called Costa to get the lenses replaced and they said it would cost $50. I sent them to Costa and received back a brand new pair! I did pay $50, but it was worth every penny. Great customer service

I wish I would of had the customer service luck yall are having.

My fathoms fell off my head and cracked one lens. Fell just perfect to crack it. I mailed them off and Costa wanted to charge me $125 to change the lenses out. Got them returned to me and gave them to a friend who had a pair with a busted arm piece. Trying to order another pair, but haven't made it to that point yet.

I was willing to pay for the repair, but wasn't willing to pay 2/3 the price of a new pair.

I had the exact same thing told to me with a cracked lens. I simply had them ship mine back to me without replacing the lens. It seems as though they are inconsistant with warranty/repair.

Same happened to me. Cracked lens, $99. Still better than $250 though.
