Down Town Hawk

This hawk was on the sidewalk of Commerce St. (Down town West Point) Street enjoying a pigeon. This afternoon, He really didn't care who was watching him enjoy this meal !! Hope the picture works !

Birds of prey are NOT cool if you are a quail hunter :wink: They are good eatin though......taste a lot like a bald eagle :lol:

Those little "darter hawks" as I call them in my "Sparta dialect", are some killin machines. They are the hawks that are tough on the quail and pheasants. The big ole "red-tailed" rascals aren't near as efficient at killing quail.
