The Mannings

Postby Bankermane » Thu Jan 22, 2004 10:58 am

Rumor is that Archie, Peyton, and Eli have been spending the week in the Greenwood area duck hunting.
I'm wondering, do you think:
1) New England was that good;
2)Peyton had an off day;
3)It was too cold for a southern boy; or
4)He intentionally through four interceptions, on purpose, so he could hunt the last week of the season.
Looks suspicious to me.

sounds like the boy has his priorities straight
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Im not even a native Mississippian....but I will say....those are some fine boys.......

They all have poise, class and humility.....in addition to god given talent and ability...

Too bad more NFL/College players dont have good home training !

And Duck Hunters to boot ? even better

Any other year maybe that would be true. But if I had the choice of winning the superbowl or hunting THIS YEAR. I would have to say I would pick winning the superbowl. Next year is a whole different story though.

Naw, that boy got out of the dome and said "sheeeeoooot, its cold. I can't feel my fingers."

Its very tough on a "dome team" to make the transition to that type of weather.

Bet the hole isn't near Oxford...Since ol' Peyton chose NOT to go to Ole Miss!!!

Well you guys were right. One of my employees came in from camp Monday morning and told me the story. Peyton and a friend (his center I think it was) were at Lake Chotard Saturday night at the Chotard Landing bar/pool hall/gas station/bait shop/ laundry mat/and boat ramp. They were shooting pool and drinking beer. He had all the toothless wonder women all over him (or so I am told).
