Beretta all the way! I've shot the SBE II and M2. I like the Urika for a 3 in. gun and the Xtrema 2 for the 3.5 in. gun. It's all a matter of opinion and preference though.

Didn't mean to step on you Benelli guys toes. Anybody ever question why they include a kit instead of selling a gun that operates fine without it?

And I'm sure some folks have good experiences out of them without the add-ons, but the fact remains they give you a kit to make the gun they just sold you shoot properly. Like greencaps said, its all a matter of opinion. Maybe i can see it for retro fitting an older model but not a brand new $1400 gun.

Beretta 390 Silver Mallard, best gun I've ever owned. I don't even clean it till after the season. Never a minutes trouble. 3 1/2's are no better than 3's in my opinion.

Well I personaly have never been a big fan of auto's for duck huntin. With that said and being both a benelli and a beretta dealer. I have to tell you don''t look totaly away from the new Super-x 3. I've got one guy that's been thru 2 benelli's and and 1 extrema II in the last 10 years. The extrema died on him yesterday. (frame warped) I orderd him a super x 3 today. They are all bout the same price and so far I've been impressed with the way the super x 3 has held up. Only put 3 carton's thru it so far this year but in cleaning it it's looking good. Doesn't seem to be showing the signs of wear that the others do.
By the way it sells for 1150 plus tax in M/O duckblind camo!

I shot a 3.5 " Citori for 7 years. I need that 3rd shot!! It also kicked like a mule. I traded it for a SBE.

Before I take a beating for mentioning this gun, the purpose for buying this model was so that I would'nt care if i dropped it, ran over it, scratched it, or broke it. I bought an H&R Excel Auto 5 three inch gun for $288.00 tax included. Kills ducks just as well as my Browning and Benelli. Just my two cents if your in the market for a cheap dependable gun.

Browning Cynergy.. The new stock stakes some of the sting out of the 3.5...

I save the Citoris for the light work (Dove, Quail....)
