if everything keeps going like it has been going there ought to be enough water this year and not like last when there was no water. anyone else feel the same?

Sept and Oct are historically dry months. Plenty of sloughs and bayous filled with water now which is great for all of the duck weed and other flora that is growing. It seem like the begining of the season is always a bit dry but things pick up. I think that having the whole month of Jan. really pays off in this aspect.
