You didn't state the model but it really doesn't matter. They are (I may be biased) the best of the best. Great quality, dependability, and very durable. There are many other quality firearms on the market but I think you are looking in the right direction.

Ditto. You can still find 20 guage 303's new and they are great guns at a great price. My wife shoots skeet with a 20 guage 303 and just loves it. Beretta has been making guns since the 1500's, and are still around because they don't make no junk.

Gotta agree with everyone. I've gota 12ga. AL390 that's nine years old and it has NEVER missfired, jammed, or frozen up. It hardly kicks at all. I paid twice as much for a Benelli SBE (which I love), but it's had to go back for repairs and it's not but three years old. If they make a 31/2"--I'll buy it!

Thanks for all the replys. It's the semi-auto ,I'm not sure of the model number. I know it will shoot 3" or 2 3/4. Doesn't seem I could go wrong.

iceman, just curious what length barrel you shoot on your 390. there were some 390's with 24" barrels at a local gunshow a while back and being that i have always shot no less than 28" i was skeptical. but i do want a 390. according to the questions i have asked and all i have read the 24" would be just a matter of preference to the individual
and would shoot just as well as a longer barrel.

You can always get a longer 390 barrel from Rich Cole at www.colegun.com
