Delta License Plates

Folks an update from Kevin Becker on the plates. Thanks for your patience.

Good News all of you eagerly waiting the release of the Delta Waterfowl Mississippi License Plates. We received a call from the State of Mississippi this week that the plates are finished and should be shipped to all counties within the next 10 days. When we receive notice on their arrival, we will contact all of you that sent in your applications and give you some instructions on the distribution of those plates. For those of you that did not send in your applications but have your tags coming due shortly, please consider purchasing a Delta Waterfowl license plate for your vehicle as well.

Guys,
Alot of plates have to be mailed to you now as the Counties do nt get the special intrest plates because the lady in Rankin Co. told me in Nov.,"There are like over 135 of them now!" I got my stickers and my "pink slip" and the DU plate came in the mail about 10-14 woking days later! May be that since these were pre-odered, they will go to the Co. Tax office. If not, it does get to you so be patient. I am glad that this has finnaly gotten to the "distribution" point!

Do you just go to the tax office and order one? How much are they? My tag expired this month

Called the tax collectors office in Ridgeland and they said "I haven't heard of that one yet" :evil:

. Who can I call to order one, etc?? PLEASE! :shock:

These will be delivered to your local tax office for those who ordered early. They have not arrived as of yet.

But for those that did not preorder, They should be able to go in and renew as before and specifiy that they want a DW tag and pay for it there but it will more than likely be mailed from Jackson to you as I stated before. :wink:

I am wondering like the other guys, I got the form a while back and lost it so I did not fill it out. Will I be able to request this @ my local Tax Collectors office or will I have to pre order one. I am not in a bind for a new tag until the fall, just wanted to go ahead and order if that is what I need to do to get one.
