If there was no limit

Postby Unlucky Duck » Sun Dec 03, 2006 11:56 am

If there were no limit and you were holding ducks would you shoot til you could not shoot anymore or would you save for another day, in the hopes that the ducks stayed and you could hunt another day?????

It is a SPORT. You are supposed to learn certain skills to engage in a sport. It is too bad that we dont have some rules written in stone, so we can clarify to those who only wish to be duckhunters, (and just about anything else they want to be) what it really means to engage in this particular sport. (like if you turn your dog into a robot to win little pieces of blue cloth, you probably aint got your priorities in this sport just right, you are just an egotistical maniac with a nitch, using the ducks and your dog to make sure of it) It makes us all just simple whores. And the we make our dogs whores because we can. It's a complicated thing man. We are all whores, but there are some of us who have loved this thing. And we have kept it alive by hook or crook. But us Whores have changed this thing, even though we know that you dont know what it takes to get there. DAMN it takes patience these days to be a hooker. What would you shoot if you could get away with it? Is this a philosophical question for guys with GPS, Twirlies, Weekend hunts, and Golf Clubs rusting? You have to be kidding me! If they think they can get away with it, they will shoot just as many ducks as they can shoot without even thinking of how they are going to get them out, and so they will leave them. Do you actually think there is some kind of moral Conscience without raw experience and contemplation about this endeavor that is more powerful than oppourtunity that guides the desire to kill? You arent actually stupid enough to believe that are you? Well. Thats exactly what we did. Sorry its so blurry. We thunk it was cool, then life catches up and you see it as one of those rare places to do the right thing. Maybe you wont, I always cook the eggs and bacon and then go back to sleep until they show up to fuss about stuff go to sleep right after they eat whatever we got cooked.
And I dont pluck thier stuff either, which is ashmed becaue they dont either. Welcome to the club. Now grow up And stop asking all of us about your little desires. It is a SPORT GENTLEMEN. IT IS A SPORT. Do you want to abuse it? Well go ahead, we all sure did. But we LEARNED that to play the game is WAY more fun. And it is complicated as HELL. Perhaps that is why all the old grey headed guys can shoot far more ducks than you can. Because it takes awhile to learn this thing, and you young guys, need to be somewhat at least respestful, when a grey headed old coots smiles at you, and lets you play. But of course, that aint gonna happen, we all been there and done that. Heck thats half the fun of laughin at you guys and half the fun of you laughin at US.

IT is a SPORT GENTLEMEN ==== It is a SPORT

limits

Postby Unlucky Duck » Sun Dec 03, 2006 5:56 pm

I do not have a clue about the CRAP that some yahoo called a post. This was more than I cared to read and it rambled on and on and just about put me to sleep with this far left opinion. If I am wrong in my readings and the remarks were not directed at the author of the original question then I apologize. If it was and I have reread the post several times then brother you need to take your anger elsewhere it was a simple question in regards to conservation. I NEVER gave my opinion one way or the other and then to take critisizm for it! Please.

I wonder how long this guy has even been hunting ducks??? My suggestion is not to ask a question that you already know the answer to; or else you can expect the hazing you WILL recieve!!!

Well said... I wish I would have listened to my duck hunting elders more when I first started this feathered madness! Now they are all gone and I'm on my own trying to figure this stuff. I'm 37 and have hunted ducks for 30 yrs; still, I only understand maybe half of what it's all about... Still I have not been able to answer why I do it? Is it the friends? Is it the dogs? Is it the sunrise in the morning? Is it the fast pace of the hunt if they are decoying? Is it the glamor of what used to be? Is it the popular thing to do? I don't know if I can nail it down. I'm just glad to be part of it...

now now benard, you wouldn't wanna go and do/say/type something that's gonna tarnish the "ham hock" name would ya???

i mean, you got a whole world at myspace that adores you.....heck, there, you might could say, you still got a reputation that don't include ignorant, drunken ramblings that are edited and edited AND EDITED, finally to erupt in a rage that borders on psycopathic, but is rooted firmly in the realm of pathetic and lame.

good show benny-boy......

keep at it, your pal, gator

LOLM, these kids, they just know it all, just like we did. Heck who can blame them I sure did. But my elders KNEW the ducks, and that was one thing that I shut my mouth about, even all the chores, I didnt question it. They KNEW and they taught me TOO.
