Well all your talking about sporting clays finally made me make a reservation at the Willows this Sunday to try it.
I hope I hate it, it looks too darn expensive!!
To make matters worse I'm shooting with a past AR. champion.

The Willows is much more expensive than a regular sporting clays range. However, ask them about thier August special. They sent me a discount coupon good through the end of August for a regular round, and I bet that they would give you the same price.

The willows is a really nice place to shoot, set up with 3 stands for each target presentation, a "gimmie" a "little bit harder" and "a little worse than that." They change the distance and the angles that way to make it easier or harder depending on the skill level of the shooter.

Be sure that you shoot the duck flush game. That is extreme fun, where they throw 75 targets at you and 2 others in 90 seconds, and you are scored on how many you let hit the water. Better be able to reload FAST!

You will have a good time.

I know that at the Whitetail Shooting Center outside of Tupelo this Saturday, the BoyScouts & Cingular Wireless will have a sporting clay event this weekend also. This will be my 3rd year involved in the event and Whitetail is a nice course. The Willows course is still a nice course, just in case you make it to Tupelo you might want to give Whitetail a chance.

What time are you going to shoot Sunday? Would like to shoot with you. Maybe some more of the msducks boys would like to shoot.

Who is the past Arkansas State Champ?

Yeah I kinda figured that one out from your past posts!
Hope a bunch show up sounds like a lot of fun.
When I said expensive I meant the cost of some of those guns, I saw at the gun show this weekend. Hell some of them looked like paintball guns, but the prices sure weren't paintball gun prices!
Can you rent guns at the Willows I think I'd like to try an O/U on the course.

Yes, you can rent full tricked out O/U's and Autos (mostly Berettas) at the range. I seem to recall it is pretty inexpensive to rent one, but can't recall the price.
