Poacher problem ... need help

Postby Snapp » Wed Dec 21, 2005 4:09 pm

Had some recent reports of a couple of folks shooting ducks off our fields that were near the roads. Kenny, my head scout, tried to catch up with them yesterday. Said it looked like a primer gray colored El Camino or Ranchero and from the tire tracks they must have pretty good size mud tires on the rear. Said it must have had a pretty good size motor as well ...

If anyone knows anything about these folks, sure would like to find out who they are. We call that stealing in this part of the country

even though game wardens can be stupid at times, as we saw in GREENHEAD'S post, you may want to try to get 1 or 2 to be watching out around that area. good luck snapp.

I swear to God I have never seen or heard of the El Camino gang. Ask anybody here and they have no clue who they are.

I always thought that they were like the "mafia" and everyone was afraid to tell that they knew em!

Snapp, sorry to hear that there are some folks out there doing that! There can be some pretty terrible folks that call themselves duck hunters from time to time! Good luck getting this problem under control, hope someone that has seen something reads this and helps ya out!
