Sardis lake
Just curious if anyone had any luck hunting sardis lake this year...been thinking of trying it out next year.

Hunted it a couple of times when I was in school at Oxford (about 3 years ago) with some buddies. We had a couple of desent shoots. You are gonna probably need a boat to have any success and as with all public land sometimes you have to deal with some nuts who think if they set up as close as possible to you they will do better.

I hunted Sardis a lot when I was at Ole Miss, heck it was 5 minutes from my house! I always had the best shoots when the water was way up into the woods. I'd say that sardis gets better with water and is definitely more consistant when it is flooded out of its banks, some of the best duck hunting areas don't get wet unless it is.
