Did you install the sound dampener yourself? Was it a big help with noise? That's the only issue I have with my Viking is that it is LOUD. If I could seriously silence it a good bit, it would be a perfect bike.
I installed mine myself. Wasn't hard; took maybe 15 minutes. Guys on Viking forum are ...

Re: ATV/UTV question
I've had my Viking for 2 duck seasons and have used and abused it. Haven't had a lick of trouble with it. It is loud for sure though. If Yamaha would put a v-twin in it, it would be a lot quieter. I pull around a 16 ft trailer around with mine and it does fine. When in the mud and water, I stay in ...

Re: New Truck? Ford or Chevy
I hear the drinking gas debate all the time. You have to give up something to get better gas mileage in a 4x4 truck. Usually thats HP, torque, or a high geared rearend. If you're worried about gas mileage, buy a Prius.

What I meant is, I don't get off watching someone bait an animal into the water so a bunch of tourist can get it on film.

Re: 2006 and up 4Runner question
Those with the v6, any regrets note getting the v8?
I would get the v8 if it was me. The difference in gas mileage is only 1-2 mpg. I have a 2006 v8 4runner and I average around 18mpg, mixed town and highway. The 4.7L 2uzfe is one of the best engines toyota has made. This engine was in the lexus ...

Re: Pioneer vs Viking
I love my viking. I've had it one duck season and ran it hard in bean fields and milo fields. Didn't think about getting stuck. Plenty of power and LOTS of room. As far as the belt drive goes, yamaha has had the same set up for a long time and has the best reputation for them. I have only had a belt ...

I was wondering if I was the only one who had noticed that. I've never seen an Igloo sitting up above the bed rail of a pick up.tombstone wrote:(Not only will they own it, they will make a stand in the back of their truck so it can sit up high like their cooler so everyone can see it)
