Not enough water in the spillway at the rez and cant seem to find them in Pelahatchie Bay! You can catch a limit of crappie just big enough to check your grease at the spillway, nothing really worth your time.

I saw a ton of ducks (gadwall, teal, mallards, coots, shovelers, a little bit of everything) on the rez the other day. Wish I could be hunting right now!

Just wondering if woodies migrate the same distance as other ducks. Where did they migrate from?

we killed 2 in Port Gibson should have killed a limit or two of mallards just couldnt hit and water was too deep. I did get a nice buck that afternoon though. 8 point with a 15 1/2" spread with pretty nice thickness. Topped all that off with 13 ducks and 1 banded hen the next 2 days around Grenada ...

Forecast for Dec 1 is partly cloudy High 51 Low of 29. Supposed to rain a few days before then and get below freezing 3 or 4 times before Dec 1. Could use a little more rain but I dont think the opener will be all that bad. Hope that 15 day forecast is accurate.
