Cleaning Ducks with Wax
Thinking about getting set up to wax my birds this year. We got a plucker, it just doesn't work that great at removing the pin feathers. Anyone have a good waxing system they care to share? Or some do's and donts? Is it worth the trouble?

Re: Need a Gumbo Recipe
...the roux is everything. Screw that up and it doesn't matter what else you put in. First timers try it in a glass dish and a microwave first. Couple minutes, stir, repeat...untill caramel to brown color, paste like constistancy. Then you can add it to your cooked down bird of choice in its stock ...

Cabela's Pop-Up boat blind
Any word on these? They're cheaper $ than mudbuddy's or Avery's. I like the new filp top looks. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with it?

Hey Janet, your def. on meaning of the back..truck, over..bird statement is correct by the way. You see it a ton in trials. Backs on points usually cause "digging in". Water force & swim- by teach, "over" to more water. The over is actually a force command for those who do a thorough job of water ...

...X-3 feed back... Went shot a few rounds at the local range. Gun is a very smooth shooter, very low recoil. Fits me great. It was the first time I could focus on the clay only, I didn't have to think about where the gun was (rib, stock bla bla bla). I'm not a real good shot normally, but the gun ...

Merc 25 boat motor ques?
Anyone ever put an elect. start kit on a Merc 25 pull start? Ol' shoulder injury killi'n me pulling the thing off when it's cold. I have a friend that's a pretty good outboard mech (shade tree) but he said we might need a flywheel puller or special tool.

"Zimectrin" or "Equimectrin".One is a white paste, one a clear gell. Make sure you get the tube that has 50lb. increments. I give one 50lb. dose to all my dogs (8-15) large or small. My vet said a 50lb. dose is plenty for dogs 20-100lbs. You can find it at most feed stores. Swipe the gell/paste on ...

...again... My self and another respected pro have been on "Zimectrin" (ivomec) for 10+ years, keeping/training LOTs of dogs with ZERO incidence in South Louisiana (mosquito haven). I'd be scared to death to use ANYTHING else. When I get a new dog in for training, the first thing it gets is it's ...

"Wing Magic" and other wave makers?
Anyone use the wing magic jerk decoy? How do you like it? I also like the submersable "trolling motor" wave maker that Cabelas makes. I think it's called the "Mallard Masher".
Are these worth their weight, or should I save my $ and stick with the ol' home made jerk rig?
