Saw a fair number of early flight ducks in the south delta Friday afternoon. Had a fair hunt Sat and a less than mediocre hunt Sun. It should get good this week though. Weather up north looks like it may finally run some this way.

I thought this was about shovlers. In fact, after this season, they may be my favorite duck, replacing the old reliable gray on slow days.

Cut 15-20 pieces of good leafy cane you can tie together to tote in and sit on a bucket or dove stool. Works just as good as all that other crap and is free. Just wear really good camo (gilly suit preferably) and be still.
