Re: Ask DS -- Tire size change with BF Goodrich TA KO
I recently saw a guy running 285/65/18 and he said he has no clearance problems but hasn't been running them very long. I asked a tire shop about them and they thought they may rub some suspension parts if put in a bind. What say Ya'll?

Re: help me pick a Zero turn mower
I just sold a Cub Cadet rider that was 8 years old with 228 hours and replaced it with an Exmark 48" Pioneer S. I was starting to have to work on the Cadet a lot. The zero turn cut my mow time in half, and when it discharges the clippings they are dust. NO MORE RAKING!!!! I was told that after doing ...

Re: Truck prices
Not sure if yall know it or not, but dodge is selling a 5 year unlimited mileage bumper to bumper warranty for $1300 at time of purchase. You cant beat that if you are not brand loyal. I am a Chevy man, but since they just reduced powertrain warranty from 100,000 miles to 60,000 miles starting with ...

Re: Has interest in duck hunting peaked?
With the teens and college kids it is cooler than ever. I don't see any slacking up, and the last 2 years we have had lots of ducks also. Cant see it letting up until we go a few years with low duck numbers.

Re: Ask the brain trust best mattress...
I was sleeping on a firm simmons traditional style mattress and my back was killing me. Swapped to a memory foam and had a miraculous recovery in a few days. Have had it about 3 years and I can tell it is starting to indent a little now. Think it has a 7 year warranty so I may be asking for a ...

I think it would skin a hog. Guess I need to be careful if using it with shorts on. Would hate for the old Anaconda to get shortened accidentally!

Re: Ask DS, stihl gas hedgetrimmer question
I picked up the model 46 with the 22 inch bar and used it this afternoon. This is a serious machine. It is a little heavy if standing on a ladder and reaching out but all I can say is WOW! Cuts more than twice as fast as the old electric Craftsman model I was using.

I have a buttload of shrubs and I usually have to trim them about 3 times per year. It will see lots of use whatever size I get.

Ask DS, stihl gas hedgetrimmer question
About to pull the trigger on one, but not sure if the 18 or 22 inch bar is better. Open to opinions. Thanks

Re: Looking at a new Squirrel gun 17 or 22 LR
I bought a Ruger 77/22 a couple years ago and love it, especially the fact that the clip interchanges with 10/22 guns and is a flush fit with the stock also. However, the triggers on 77/22 are crap. You either have to send them off for trigger job $75 or buy a replacement sear and install yourself ...
