I have a mud buddy with a 13 Hp Honda and I think it's great. I looked at the godevil and think the frame of the mudbuddy is superior. Also think that the mudbuddy has a better bearing system. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me if there's anything I might be able to do to help.

Chance did I understand you right. The black/white are easier to see in the sky. That makes sense because of the color contrast, but they are less visible on the water because of the black. I've never used the black/white combination.
