Warm winter + wet summer= lots of crabgrass. I wouldn't worry about it this late in the game. Preemerge next year.

Quartz doesn't have to be sealed or resealed like granite. Granite can stain, but as long as you clean up quickly it shouldn't. Not sure on prices, but I believe quartz is less expensive and more durable. Concrete better have a good seal or it will stain like no other.

Went to Sandals Ochi in Ocho Rios, Jamaica for our honeymoon. It's about an hour and a half drive from the airport, but the transportation was included. 6 cups a day just sounds like a lot of food. All our dogs have always eaten much less when it's hot than during winter. He's probably fine.
