I spoke with a guy Friday that just got back from New Mexico. They hunted public land in Unit 15. 3 out of the 4 guys took large bulls--one scored 342. He said that they would hear 6-7 bugleing bulls every day.----Makes me ready to go!

Sounds like you had a great time even though the hunting was poor. That's the great thing about the Rockies--I've been out there hunting several times and even when I've tagged out--I still get up and go. I could sit there on a mountain top and be perfectly content--just in total awe of what our ...

Hey Delta--I'm sorry I didn't get to see you while I was also there for two week summer camp. I was working in the building next to the white house with Col. Thornton and some other hoorahs! Those officers get all the sop jobs like giving tours to vips--some of us actually have to work while we are ...

Jeff:

Don't worry with the MBA if you've got a business degree--there's only a small percentage of employers out here that are even going to be a little impressed. Its more about personality and how good you can interview. An articulate, interesting speaker can woop and MBA all day long. Quit ...

I got a response letter back this week for Interim Treasurer-Peyton Prospere. He assured me that they would not be tapping into the MDWFP funds. He explained that he was an outdoorsman also and for us not to worry.----I hope he's right! I was impressed with expedience and concern.

I have not ...

Antique Bamboo Rods

The other is a Fly Rod: Bamboo (unknown maker) with a Bronson level wind reel. Both seem to be very ...

Sticky Fingers---Dern State Gov.

Did any of you guys happen to read the article in the Clarion Liberal last week about the MSDWFP and the State Tres. office? If I understand it right, the legislature is thinking about allowing the State Tres. to dip into the MSDWFP Licensing Fee account. This is the account that helps fund the ...

AJ-I believe that you are just not quite getting it. Wingman's time is short, just like mine--we are Christians-living only a small amount of time here on earth, but, are promised an eternity in Heaven. You see, it is the mission of the Christian to tell others about the saving grace of Jesus--we ...
